‘U’ Certificate for ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’

Over the years, the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has become filmmakers’ worst nightmare. After going through the tough process of making a film, they are faced with the challenge of the board telling them to do more editing. However, there are times when the CBFC let some films pass without any additional action to be made, which is exactly what has happened with Mudassar Aziz’s ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’.

As reported bu Times of India, the film which stars Diana Penty, has been given the all clear by the CBFC, without any cuts or further edits to be made. With so many films coming under scrutiny over sensitive subjects, ��the board seem to understand that this film is an al family friendly film, certifying the film as ‘U’.

Also starring Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal and Jimmy Shergill, ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ tells the funny story of how Happy ends up in Pakistan after running away from her own wedding.

The film is set to hit the big screens on 19th August.
