Two new daily dramas set to start on Sony TV

Sony Entertainment Television Asia, which has been riding high on the back of movie premieres and the hype surrounding its new property ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (starting tonight), has announced it is launching two new dramas.

One called ‘Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Nata Koi’, produced by Cinevista, is a story of Tashi (played by Janvi Cheda). The story deals with the journey that the young protagonist, Tashi has to take. From being an innocent participant of a beautiful and protected life, she becomes the victim of a devious plan laid out elaborately by the handsome Arjun.

A whirlwind romance with a handsome stranger, Arjun, leads to a hurried marriage and then she stumbles upon a lie that Arjun had told her – that he does not have a family. Tashi realizes that she has married into a royal family of Rajasthan, a family shrouded in mystery and hiding dark secrets which posed a constant danger to her life.

The second is ‘Saas Bina Sasural’, which stars Ravi Dubey (formerly of ZEE TV’s Karol Bagh).

The storyline of ‘Saas Bina Sasural’ is loosely based on ‘Satte Pe Satta’, its about Seven brothers who are wary of females. It is also on the lines of Akshay Khanna and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Hulchul’.

Arvind plays the role of the grandfather who is the patriarch of the family, Darshan plays his son who is a widower. His wife dies after giving birth to their fifth son. Rajendra’s wife too leaves him in matter of six months. Rishi’s character is that of a man who vows never to get married. He is always into yoga and prayers. The third son named Tej Prakash is the main hero of the family

‘Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Nata Koi’ starts tonight (11th October) at 22:30. ‘Saas Bina Sasural’ commences a week later on Monday 18th October at 22:00.
