Two Bengali channels go off-air on Sky

Bengali services iON TV and Channel i have abruptly been removed from the Sky EPG.

This is not the first time the two channels have fallen off the Sky EPG. Channel i, which was available on Sky channel 752, is no longer broadcasting in its slot. Meanwhile, iON TV’s EPG channel number 773 is also vacant. It is not yet known when and if the two channels will return.

A removal of a TV service is usually down to two reasons, either the broadcaster has failed to make payment to Sky or a technical fault resulting in the channel being bumped off.
