Two Asians from Blackburn could become richer than Sir Richard Branson

Two Asians from Blackburn could soon become richer than the Virgin Group founder, Sir Richard Branson.

Telegraph reports that two brothers Mohsin and Zuber Issa, 48 and 47, could gain a £5 billion fortune by floating their petrol station empire.

The Issa brothers opened up their first petrol pump forecourt in Bury in 2001. Under their company, EG Group, the two have expanded the business globally with 4,700 sites in US and Europe.

The report adds that the firm is likely to be floated on the stock market, with a valuation of £10 billion, with a split of £5 billion for each brother. With this, the brothers would put them high up in the UK rich list, putting them ahead of Branson and the Schroder family of financiers.
