&TV UK to replace SRK show with two fictions

With Shah Rukh Khan’s popular gameshow ‘India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun’ coming to its natural end this week, &TV will be introducing two new dramas in the weekday 21:00 – 22:00 slot.

The first show will be ��Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls�۪ at 21:00, while the second will be ��Badii Devrani�۪, which will sit in the 21:30 slot – both start on Monday 4th May.

‘Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls�۪ is a light-hearted show bringing out the daily nuances and small little problems that one�۪s life is centered on. Based in Delhi, the show talks about 5 sisters, how they are together yet different from each other in their own quirky manner. The show deals with the situations that these sisters fall into, bringing out the spice of their life with comical as well as dramatic situations.

��Badii Devrani�۪ from the house of Shashi Sumeet Productions; original concept & storyline by Beyond Dreams Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, is set against the backdrop of Kolkata is the story of an unusual arranged marriage between an older woman (Reeti) and a younger boy (Vibhor). The story explores the relationship between the two protagonists belonging to families who are bitter enemies due to a dark incident in their past but eventually get married due to a twist of fate. Even the protagonists dislike each other at the time of marriage. Will this marriage survive the hatred between the two families? Will Reeti and Vibhor overcome their differences? Though married to the younger of the two sons of the family why is Reeti called ��Badii Devrani�۪?
