&TV HD begins video testing on Sky

The High Definition version of &TV has begun testing on Sky Digital.

As revealed exclusively on BizAsia last week, &TV HD will be the first free-to-air Asian HD channel to launch on the digital TV platform. &TV HD will simulcast programmes as its current standard version (SD). &TV launched in the UK last month and has regularly attracted a weekly reach of 450,000 viewers.

&TV HD is expected to go live in the first week of June to coincide with the launch of the channel’s huge reality show ‘The Voice’.

&TV HD will join Star Plus HD as the only other Asian HD channel in the UK. However, Star Plus HD is only available as part of a Sky subscription.

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> Select System Setup
-> Select Add Channels
-> Enter frequency: 12.670 (V), FEC: 2/3, SR: 23000 / DVB-S2 / 8PSK
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight ���54050? service and press Yellow button
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
