&TV get licences to two new channels in India

ZEE Network’s &TV brand is likely to get bigger after the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) granted the company two new licences.

The channels will be launched under the “&” brand as &TV Music and &TV Youth. They will accompany existing the Hindi entertainment channel, &TV.

As well as ZEE Network, Sony Pictures Networks’ request to launch a Gujarati entertainment channel has been approved. Meanwhile, Viacom18 is expected to launch five new regional language channels.
