TV channels join World TV package in Europe

A bouquet by the name of World TV has formed in Europe offering up to ten popular Asian TV channels at a competitive price.

STAR Plus, STAR One, STAR Gold, Sony Entertainment Television Asia, Sahara One, Filmy, MAX and Channel Punjab are the confirmed broadcasters that will be available as part of the World TV package from immediate effect.

World TV, a subsidiary of content management and delivery company, GlobeCast – is the leading aggregator and distributor of international television and radio programming in America.

World TV�۪s expansion into Continental Europe securing distribution rights for some of South Asia�۪s leading entertainment channels, promises to give it a strong start in the challenging South Asian pay TV market.

The package has been priced at 299 Euros per annum. World TV is available on the Intelsat satellite for Europe.

GlobeCast is also in the process of launching Sahara One and Filmy in the UK market. EPG data tests of Sahara One have already commenced on Sky Digital off the Sky EPG.
