TV channels cover historic EU Referendum vote

Asian TV channels have switched to rolling news coverage in the early hours of Friday morning to bring viewers the historical Brexit vote.

At just after 04:30 BST, Sky News and BBC News channels were first to release their projections – announcing the UK has voted ‘out’ in the Eu Referendum.

Indian news channels, Times Now and NDTV 24×7 ran special bulletins at the time of the breaking news. News18 and Aaj Tak scrolled just news tickers at the time.

The news was followed by British prime minister, David Cameron’s resignation around 08:30.
