Sunny Leone’s Bollywood films have not been doing too poorly at the box office. While herfilms, such as ‘Ragini MMS 2’ (2014) and ‘Jism 2’ (2012) helped her gain more popularity with the Bollywood audience, she still hasn’t been fully accepted by the family audience. Her past profession in the adult entertainment industry is still coming in the way of her Bollywood promotions, mainly her next, with Ram Kapoor, ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai.’

Hindustan Times has reported that the film’s makers are having an hard time getting their film promoted on any of the General Entertainment Channels (GEC).A source from the film’s unit has told thatthe channels do not want any erotic promotions on their family channels. “While most films are promoted on daily as well as reality shows, many GEC’s refused to Sunny appear in them. They reasoned that they can’t promote anything erotic on their family channels.”

The source also added that they don’t understand why this film is not getting the thumbs up from channels as Leone’s past films like ‘Ragini MMS 2’ and most recently, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ (2015) were promoted on television. “The makers are unable to understand why the channels are reluctant to promote the film.”

An anonymousspokesperson from a channel’s marketing team has said, “We don’t have any shows where we can fit her.”

‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’ will release on the 8th May, and also features Evelyn Sharma.
