TV actor Anuj Saxena surrenders himself to court
TV actor Anuj Saxena has surrendered himself in connection with a graft case. The same case had claimed the lives of co-accused BK Bansal and his family after they committed suicide last year.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said Saxena was directly involved in bribing Bansal so that the bureaucrat would not conduct investigations into his business dealings. The case took a controversial turn when Bansal, alongside his wife and two children hung themselves after claims they were harassed by the CBI following his arrest on charges of corruption.
Saxena was asked to surrender himself by the Delhi High court by 17th February.
