Tusshar Kapoor opens up about fatherhood

Much to many of our knowledge, Tusshar Kapoor is a single father to Laksshya, a baby boy, conceived via IVF (in vitro fertilization) and surrogacy in June this year.

The 39-year-old actor is quite happy being single coming close to the age of 40, as he believes he wanted to fulfil the role of being a father before thinking about marriage as his immediate dream.

According to Bollywoodlife.com, Kapoor explained, as part of an IVF awareness event at Jaslok Hospital, that initially his parents, Jitendra and Shobha Kapoor, were apprehensive of disclosing how the child was born and how India would take it, who proposed the idea of friends and networks of friends finding out instead over time.

He was surprised at how the public finally took the news pleasantly, and appreciated the support from his friends, family and the public, especially the media. He certainly is not in a hurry to get married but shall be leaving that to fate going forward.
