Tusshar Kapoor files case against Samir Karnik

Actor Tusshar Kapoor is taking legal action against director, Samir Karnik for non-payment of Rs 1.75 crore for his promotional work for film ‘Char Din Ki Chandni’ (2012).

Furthermore, the cheque of the part payment that had been given to the actor has also bounced.

Zameer Nathani, legal advisor for Kapoor told Mid-Day, “Yes, his cheque of R 36 lakh after the TDS was cut from Rs 40 lakh has bounced. The cheque was dated for July 30, and it was part payment of an agreed amount between the two. However, the cheque bounced with a letter stating “insufficient funds”.
