Irrfan Khan is an international star in his own right. Not only has he appeared in more than 50 Bollywood films, he is also credited in Hollywood films such as ‘Life of Pi’ (2012), ‘New York, I Love You’ (2008), ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ (2012) and ‘Jurassic World’ (2015) and will soon be seen with one of Hollywood’s finest actors, Tom Hanks, in the adaptation of author Dan Brown’s ‘Inferno’.

‘Inferno’ is one of the most awaited movies of the year and it seems the two actors have become good friends as the ‘Saving Private Ryan’ (1998) superstar had nothing but praise to shower upon his co-actor when speaking about his experience of working with Khan.

According to DNA, Hanks shared, “Bollywood has emerged into a very modern and vibrant film society. I must say, when I was told that Irrfan is going to be in this movie, I felt like it was working with the Indian version of Sir Laurence Olivier or Sean Connery or somebody who is a giant in his culture. So, we as actors had more in common because of that than the differences.”

‘Inferno’ is scheduled for worldwide release on 28th October.
