Times Now’s statement on Arnab Goswami’s copyright breach
Earlier this week, it was reported that Times Network’s parent company BCCL would be suing Arnab Goswami over a copyright breach concerning news items, which only he knew about when he was working at Times Now.
Since then, Goswami launched a rival news channel, Republic TV and aired the footage allegedly on his own service. Goswami has also been accused of “theft” over the missing tapes regarding the news surrounding Sunanda and Lalu.
While, Times Now has kept quiet on the legal spat, it has now released an official statement through its Twitter.
Earlier today, it was revealed that Republic TV’s first week ratings dethroned Times Now from the top.
