Times Now terminates BARB reporting

Popular Indian news channel, Times Now will no longer report official UK ratings, after ending its agreement.

Times Now, which dominates ratings in India, has not been able to repeat the same success in the UK market since its launch in 2015. The channel has ceased reporting BARB data as of Sunday 1st April 2018.

It is not yet clear what the channel’s strategy will be, after coming off from BARB. Similarly, Pakistani entertainment channel, A Plus Europe ended its deal with BARB recently. Both Times Now and A Plus Europe continue to broadcast as normal on the Sky platform.
