Despite his recent release ‘Bullet Raja’ (2013) not doing too well at the box office, directorTigmanshu Dhulia is already gearing up for his next projects. However, he seems to be running into a hurdle or two.

Having attempted in approaching some of Bollywood’s top actresses, Dhulia is yet to find his lead actress for his upcoming project ‘Begam Samru’. “Because it (film) deals with exposure and sex, our heroines are not very comfortable with it. They are not comfortable to expose,” Hindustan Timesreported the film maker stating.

In saying this, Dhulia is open on casting non-A-list stars too, as he goes onto add, “I want to get a studio involved, that۪ll give me the liberty to cast anyone. The pressure to cast an A-lister won۪t bother.”

Dhulia also has ‘Milan Talkies’ on the way, where he seems to be running into the same problem. It was reported that Varun Dhawan would be signed for the film. “Varun (Dhawan), liked the script but he is overcommitted. So, I don۪t know. I might make it with anyone, because I have so much faith in the film. It۪ll run on its own merit, not on the star۪s merit,” he was reported explaining.

With this said, not casting A-list stars may work in Dhulia’s favour, seeing as his recent release starring Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha didn’t work. It looks like this filmmaker is just going to have to cross his fingers and hop for the best.
