Tiger Shroff still doesn’t have a leading lady for ‘Baaghi’

Tiger Shroff’s upcoming ‘Baaghi’ has been through a rollercoaster ride, in terms of casting for its leading lady. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala,��Kriti Sanon was��initially brought on board,��and Shraddha Kapoor was also said to be��considered, but the makers wanted a fresh face opposite Shroff. Here is when newcomer Disha Patani came in. Rumors had suggested that Patani would indeed be the new leading lady, but director Sabbir Khan has confirmed that she is yet to be signed for the film.

According to Bollywood Life, Khan stated that there are many contenders for the role, including Patani, but��nothing��has been finalized yet, “We have auditioned many girls and there are quite a few contenders��for the role.��Disha����is also one of them. But we haven’t yet finalized her. We may take a final decision in a week’s time. We will be happy to announce the name of the girl playing the lead as soon as we zero in on someone.”

Patani had also been signed on to debut in the Karan Johar produced, ‘No Sex Please, We’re Indians,’ but it was shelved after some time. Meanwhile, Shroff�� is currently��seen in the��music video��’Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main,’��sung by Atif Aslam, and choreographed by Ahmed Khan.
