Tiger Shroff: “Salman Khan is the biggest superstar in the industry”

Tiger Shroff

Tiger Shroff, who will be seen playing the lead in the action-romance film that takes its name from the 1990 Salman Khan film ‘Baaghi: A rebel for love’, said he is aware of being compared with the superstar but hasn’t seen the original.

I haven’t seen the original film. I know there will be a comparison but right now Salman sir is the biggest superstar in the industry and I am just a newcomer. It is unfair for me if I am compared to Salman sir. I will try not to let down anyone in my team,” Shroff told Deccan Chronicle.

With two months left to ‘Baaghi: A Rebel For Love’ hitting the theatres, the one-film-actor said, “We are trying to make an honest film. I feel it is too early to say anything about the film. We are hoping for the best. I have worked hard enough and will try not to let down Sajid sir (Nadiadwala) who has given me another opportunity. I feel audience accepted ‘Heropanti’ so this will be a treat for them.”

Apart from ‘Baaghi’, Shroff has another big project, a superhero film, ‘A Flying Jatt’ directed by Remo D’Souza.

Directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala ‘Baaghi: A Rebel For Love’ stars Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor and Paras Arora in lead roles and is scheduled to release on 29th April 2016.
