‘Tiger 3’ to resume shoot from 23rd July?

Filming for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Tiger 3’ was put on hold back in April following the coronavirus surge in India. On top of that, Cyclone Tauktae arrived causing extensive damage to the film set in Goregaon, Mumbai, and had to be dismantled. However, it seems like a date has now been set for the team to resume shooting.

Reported on Peeping Moon, Aditya Chopra has given his go ahead for filming to recommence on 23rd July in the knowledge that the entire crew has at least had their first dose of the covid vaccine.

Director Maneesh Sharma has also reportedly revealed the two-week plan that has been set out for the shooting schedule which will be at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri,. A source explained, “Of the cast, only the leads will report to the set for the first few days. Maneesh sir wants to film a few dramatic sequences with them.” Emraan Hashmi who also stars in the film as the antagonist will join the shoot for a pivotal confrontation scene with Khan.

It was also reported in another daily that the filmmakers are not looking to rebuild the Middle-Eastern market film set that was destroyed. The report also states that, with the situation improving, Aditya and Maneesh are keen to pursue their plan of an international schedule. The team is likely to head out of the country post August 15. While the destinations have yet to be locked, Europe and the Middle East form a part of the narrative”.
