Yash Raj Films soon-to-release magnum opus ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ has reportedly ran into a spot of bother.
According to Deccan Chronicle, the film has already exceeded its Rs. 90 crore budget by Rs. 10 crore.
A source told the publication, “There is no compromising with the budget — be it for the stars or for the locations where the film is being shot. The best technicians from the world over have joined hands with producer Aditya Chopra and director Vijay Krishna Acharya.”
The source added, “Aditya’s instruction to his director Vijay is to make a high-end action-adventure drama with the most spectacular visual effects seen in Hindi cinema. People think the role model for Thugs Of Hindostan is Pirates Of The Caribbean. But it is a lot more that that. After Baahubali, Aditya wants Thugs Of Hindostan to be the next level of showmanship from India on the global platform.”
‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ brings together Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh on-screen.
