Three new shows to spruce up SAB TV

Light entertainment channel SAB TV, has lined up three new shows to spruce up the 22:00 weekday slot, from August.

Jaspal Bhatti will appear as an IAS officer in ‘Thank You Jijaji’. The show will air every Monday, from 3rd August.

The second new show will be ‘Sonu Sweety’, a light-hearted, husband-wife comedy, starring Shweta Kwatra and Varun Badola. It starts on 4th August and will telecast every Tuesday.

India�۪s first courtroom comedy, ‘Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai’, debuts on 5th August. The show will air on Wednesdays and have Juhi Parmar as the protagonist.

‘Bhootwala Serial’, India�۪s first horror comedy show, will move out from the 22:00 slot, though it is still not clear whether the daily will stay in another time zone or end. ‘FIR’ moves from Fridays to replace ‘Bhootwala Serial’ on Thursdays.

SAB Business Head Anooj Kapoor said, “With these new shows, Sab will have some of the biggest names in comedy on Indian Television. We are committed to give our audiences different flavours and genres of comedies with every new launch.”

SAB TV has recently been performing well outnumbering closest rival STAR One.
