Three Asian TV channels earmarked for closure in UK

Up to three Asian TV channels in the UK have been earmarked for closure, BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively reveal.

Without naming the services, BizAsiaLive.com can confirm that the closures are expected to take place between January and March this year. However, with the current downward trend in Asian TV ratings, there are a number of other Asian TV channels also likely to shutdown this year.

Recently, ZEE Network UK has closed down Zing, &TV, Living Foodz and HD variations, while B4U Plus, MTV Beats, Prime TV and NDTV India (on Virgin Media) also exited the UK market.
