Third woman reveals mistreatment by Rajat Kapoor?

Adding to the #MeToo campaign where more an more women are speaking out about their treatment from men who have behaved inappropriately with them, news has it that a third woman has come out and spoken about how Rajat Kapoor acted that way with her, since two other women spoke of their experiences.

As reported by Times of India,  the woman revealed how she had first met him when she was 15 and again when she was 19, when the incident happened. Later she spoke to a friend at the time and explained to her, “I’m confused by it felt like he touched my butt, it might be a mistake, but he is 6 feet tall (I’m 5), it can’t really be a mistake. ”

She went on to express how the actor attempted to kiss her a total of eight times. Along with her statement, a screenshot of a conversation she had with the alleged actor was also revealed, he says he wants her, and won’t get to see her.

Through these allegations, Kapoor has responded through social media apologising for anything he has put anyone through. “All my life I have tried to be a decent man, to do the right thing. If however, I have slipped and through my actions or words caused pain or hurt or trauma to absolutely anybody, please accept my apology,” he wrote.

He went on to add, “I am sorry from the bottom of my heart- and sad that I was the cause of this hurt to another human being. If there is one thing more important to me than even my work, it is to be a good human being. And I have tried to be that person. And now, I will try harder.”
