Third part of ‘Dulhania’ franchise on the cards?

After the success of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, rumours are suggesting that the third part could be on its way.

Dharma Productions seemed to have been hit hard by the failure of ‘Kalank’ earlier this year but noone can dispute that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt create magic on screen. Deccan Chronicle reports that Dhawan went to meet Karan Johar after wrapping ‘Street Dancer 3D’. A source informed, “There is some talk about a third part. But with the two meetings with KJo, the buzz has become stronger. Barring the odd blemish Kalank Varun and Alia make a fabulous pair on screen”.

Dhawan is the most bankable star of this generation and he is already set to work with director Shashak Khaitan again. It remains to be seen whether a third instalment of the popular franchise is really on the cards and whether Khaitan will also be back.
