Third instalment of ‘Ishqiya’ franchise on its way?

Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Ishqiya'(2010) and ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ (2014) were appreciated by the audiences and now it’s being said that a third part might be coming soon.

Arshad Warsi recently explained to Bombay Times, “I met Vishal some time ago. We were chatting about the film. We feel the franchise has much potential. Just like Sholay, this film too falls in the ‘local western’ slot. A franchise like this shouldn’t fizzle out. Even Naseer saab, Vishal and I feel the same. Maybe after Dedh, the sequel should be called Paune Do Ishqiyan (laughs).”

Warsi will also be seen in the third of the ‘Munnabhai’ franchise once a script is agreed.
