The Archaeological Survey of India sends notice to ‘Dabangg 3’ makers

Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 3’ may have just started filming, but the film’s set is already in trouble. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has sent a notice to the makers, where they have ordered them to remove two pieces from the sets that were being constructed in the Jal Mahal in Madhya Pradesh. If the notice is not taken into account, filming will have to stop.

Pinkvilla reports that the crew of ‘Dabangg 3’ have  “violated the norms of the Ancient Monument and Archeological Sites and Remains Act 1959” by building the set at the Jal Mahal. It is reported that the crew has also damaged “an ancient figurine” while deconstructing one of the sets from a fort near the Narmada banks.

‘Dabangg 3’ is being directed by Prabhu Deva.
