‘Thapki’ to launch on Rishtey UK this month

New fiction ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki’, which marks its debut on Colors in India this month, will be aired on Rishtey in the UK, BizAsia can exclusively confirm.

In an effort to boost its primetime offerings, ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki’ will take the Monday to Saturday 20:00 slot. ‘Thapki’ is produced by SOL Productions. It is based on a young girl who struggles in life due to her stammer. ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki’ stars Jigasya Singh, Jaya Bhattyacharya, Shakti Singh, Ankit Bathla and Shrashti Maheshwari.

Currently, Rishtey UK airs ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ (re-run) at 19:30 and 20:00, however, the show will be reduced to just 19:30, with the 20:00 slot being used for ‘Thapki’. This will be the second existing show from Colors that will broadcast on Rishtey UK. ‘Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi’ has proved a huge success on Rishtey in the 20:30 slot.

‘Thapki Pyaar Ki’ launches on Monday 25th May at 20:00 (Monday to Saturday) on Rishtey UK. In India, it will air on Colors at 19:00, with ‘Shastri Sisters’ moving to 18:30.
