‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ crew to host special party for fans

Bollywood film marketing is no joke nowadays and methods are becoming more and more bespoke. The ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ team have jumped on to the bandwagon of innovation and actors Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are going to be hosting a Qawwali party in Delhi especially for their film’s promotion before the film releases next month.

The film incorporates three different eras, one of which will see Kapoor and Chopra conversing in poetry. As reported by the Hindustan Times, director-producer Kunal Kohli revealed, “We are organising the qawwali party and hasya kavi sammelan to bring back the humour and entertainment value of the Hindi-Urdu language. In the era of remixes and remakes, that era has been forgotten”. The party is set to be organised so that there will be a competition of the sexes, headed up by both Kapoor and Chopra, with teams made up of their fans. A source also��commented that there will be a contest held��for the fans who want to be in with a chance of taking part.

Recently, Bollywood has been known to promote their films with such events in their campaigns which not only get personal involvement for the fans but also does much to give people a memorable experience associated to the film in question.

The ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ trailer has, as reported, achieved a positive response and such promotional events will only enhance the hype that is already surrounding the film.
