‘Tere Liye’ star Shakti Arora joins ZEE TV show

Shakti Arora, formerly seen on the now axed ‘Tere Liye’ on Star Plus, has been confirmed as the new lead face on ZEE TV’s daily ‘Sanskar Lakshmi’.

As a part of the show’s new storyline, Sooraj (Rohit Purohit) has been written out of the show to be replaced by Shakti’s new character. Shakti will play Angad who is the son of Vijay. He’s described as a lively person who is a complete family man. He will keep the entire family united, and might also go on to be the new man in Lakshmi’s (Veebha Anand) life as the story unfolds.

Shakti confirmed the news to TellyBuzz, “Yes, I have started shooting for Sanskar Lakshmi. I play Angad who is full of life, and he will bring back happiness in the family members. After playing a sober role like Tapush for a year, I am finding it tough to play Angad who is totally opposite. But I am sure I would soon get into the skin of Angad”.

The episodes featuring Shakti will be shown on ZEE TV India this week and in the UK sometime in July.
