ZEE TV axes ‘Ardhangini’

In a bid to retain the leader’s position in the India TV market, ZEE TV has decided to axe one of its least performing shows – ‘Ardhangini’. The show, which was launched with much fanfare barely five months ago, will be going off air next month.

Actor leaves ‘Meri Doli Tere Angana’

Another one of ZEE TV’s dramas – ‘Meri Doli Tere Angana’ is set for a change after one of its lead actor decided to quit the show. Supervising producer, Akhilesh told TellyChakkar, “Gaurav has started thinking of himself as a big star and throws tantrums on the sets. He always reports two-three hours late for the shoot which results in major loss of time and money. Moreover he doesn�۪t want to wait for his turn to shoot. He wants us to adjust with few close-ups and rest of the master shots are left to be completed by the body-double which mar the quality of a scene.”
