Tej Lalvani to leave BBC’s ‘Dragons’ Den’ after next series

Tej Lalvani is set to leave the BBC’s ‘Dragons’ Den’ show after the next series.

The businessman, who has been a part of ‘Dragons’ Den’ for the past four years, has announced that he wants to commit more time to his business interests. He said, “I’m truly excited for the upcoming series of Dragons’ Den, which looks set to be one of the best.

“However after an incredibly enjoyable four years as a Dragon I have decided that this next series will be my last.”

Lalvani is the CEO Vitabiotics, founded in 1971 by his father Professor Kartar Lalvani. It is the parent company of brands including Wellwoman, Perfectil and Pregnacare.

‘Dragons’ Den’ returns for its 18th season. Lalvani will be joined by Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Sara Davies and Touker Suleyman.
