Tej joins Midlands Radio XL station

The Midlands only commercial Asian radio station Radio XL has a new voice this week with the addition of former ZEE Music presenter Tej joining the team.

Tej, a twenty-something year old originally from Coventry has gone straight to the top by becoming the station’s new Breakfast host. The show once occupied by funny man Billy Babu, left on Friday (14th January) to pursue other projects. Tej will now look after things between the hours of 6am and 9am. The news team remains intact with Saira reading the local news headlines every 30 minutes.

Quite a big move for Radio XL who in recent months has lost key presenters including Navi (Navrang) and Raj (Hindi Top 20). It is currently unclear how long Tej has been contracted to the station.
