Teena Singh the new face of Nescafe after Deepika Padukone?

We all know her from her powerful performance in A.R. Murugadoss’ ‘Akira’ opposite Sonakshi Sinha, but the dusky Punjabi beauty is now all set to paint the town red. Teena Singh is the new brand face for Nescafe and can already be seen on the billboards across the country.

From stalwarts like Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone, Nescafe has now passed the baton to fresh and spirited Singh who perfectly reflects Nescafe’s intense yet subtle coffee flavours.

Teena Singh was the pioneer in Indian Advertising industry for popularizing the ‘short haired’ or ‘boy-cut’ look. Remember, the Vicks advertisement with the short hair, tattooed beauty? Well, you-know- now-who she is!

Singh has a long list of advertising clientele that includes names like Godrej Haircolour, Times Jobs, Kotak Mahindra, Renault Duster, Jabong, Samsung Refrigerator, Lakme, and Honda bike.

While Akira was her first stint in Bollywood, she has also done a cameo in the Indian version of TV series 24 and an international project for Netflix- ‘Sense 8,’ directed by none other than the Wachowski Brothers.

The unassuming star has now grabbed our attention with her transformation from Akira’s grunge, punk look with tattoos to Nescafe’s trademark girl next door. Word has it, that she has already started shooting for a big banner film as the lead protagonist scheduled to release early next year.

Nescafe believes in making new connections, friendships, and relationships, all over a cup of frothy coffee of course. And, Teena Singh with a unique sense of style is the new chapter in this journey.

Nescafé is a coffee brand from Nestlé that started its journey in 1938. Nescafe completed 50 years in India in 2013. It is the biggest coffee brand in India with nearly 47 percent market share.
