Tata Sky to launch +1 services of Star Plus & Star Gold

Tata Sky’s plans to extend its +1 services in India seems to be taking effect.

After launching staggered services for ZEE TV, Colors and Sony Entertainment Television on the platform, Tata Sky will launch timeshift channels for Star Plus, Star Gold, Star Plus HD and Star Gold HD. While timeshift channels are a norm in countries like UK and US, the channels are proving popular in India for viewers, who may have missed programming an hour earlier.

BARC ratings for +1 services will be attributed to the ratings of the original telecast of the content.
