Tanushree Dutta lashes out at Amitabh Bachchan

Tanushree Dutta has blasted Amitabh Bachchan for not saying much on the controversy relating to her sexual allegations against Nana Patekar.

At the trailer launch of ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ last week, Bachchan was asked by reporters to comment on the controversy, to which he responded with, “Na toh mera naam Tanushree hai, nahi Nana Patekar, Kaise uttar du aapke sawal ka” (My name is neither Tanushree nor Nana Patekar, how do I reply to your question?)”.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Dutta said, “I’m hurt, as these are people who do movies on social causes. But when it comes to standing up and doing something about what is happening in front of you, there are these evasive statements that don’t make sense.”

Over the last few days, Dutta sparked controversy by alleging sexual harrasment claims against Patekar in 2008 during the shoot of their film ‘Horn Ok Please’.
