Tanushree Dutta cautiously optimistic about support from stars

Tanushree Dutta has been receiving support from several Bollywood stars after speaking out against Nana Patekar and the makers of ‘Horn OK Please’ (2009), but she urges the supporters to help ensure justice is served.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, Swara Bhasker, Twinkle Khanna, Richa Chadha, Shruti Seth and Anurag Kashyap have all come forward to make sure Dutta’s voice is heard. While she is thankful for the support, Dutta emphasised, “The question still remains. I don’t want to see Nana Patekar on a movie set. I don’t want these tweets and support and the next thing is that you are signing a film with him or you are actually going through a film you have announced.”, Pinkvilla reported.

“I am not going to listen to excuses like I have shot for the like for 5 days or 10 days. I have gone through it for 10 years. The losses I have incurred financially, emotionally, psychologically with my reputation is irreparable,” she added.

Patekar has maintained silence on the issue so far. He is currently shooting for Sajid Khan’s ‘Housefull 4’.
