Tamannaah Bhatia in ‘Queen’ Tamil remake

Tamannaah Bhatia

Vikas Bahl’s critically-acclaimed ‘Queen’ (2013), which catapulted Kangna Ranaut’s career, is set to be remade in Tamil.

Reported in Bollywood Hungama, the Tamil version will be helmed by the veteran actress Revathi, and Ranaut’s character will be played by Tamannaah Bhatia.

Bhatia, who is over the moon to be considered for the role, said she has always wanted to be a part of the remake since watching ‘Queen’ (2013), even though she was unsure if it would be remade. After watching the film she felt immensely liberated and is now more eager than ever to work on the remake. Bhatia can hardly hold her excitement knowing that the film will be directed by Revathi, making it more special.

Bhatia is currently working on the much awaited S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2,’ slated for release in 2017, where she will be seen opposite Prabhas.
