Tahir Raj Bhasin marked his debut in a lead character with ‘Mardaani’ (2014) where he was praised playing the villain’s role. In the forthcoming ‘Force 2’, he is taking on the baddie’s role again. He recently spoke about the role.
Bhasin talked to Filmfare and said, “If Mardaani was a dark character, this is a grey one. The time of Gabbar and Mogambo is over. Grey is in. Like Shah Rukh Khan in Darr was a grey, flawed character just as Aamir Khan in Rangeela or Ghulam. The best part is the audience is now exposed to stuff that۪s going on internationally. In Force 2 there are layers to every character.
Bhasin also spoke about his personal life and relationships. “I like to go back to a scene from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, when Milkha Singh is in the swimming pool and he tells the girl, Mujhe maaf karna, meri jung khudse hai.۪ I relate to that. That۪s the level of commitment I۪ve set for myself”.
He added, “I۪ve been in relationships. It۪s amazing being in love, to find that one person with whom you can share the weirdest things and the story of your life. I۪d like a girl who۪s high on IQ and EQ. She should have spunk and someone who loves taking risks. She should also be someone spontaneous”.
‘Force 2’ is directed by Abhinay Deo and also stars John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha.
