Tabu considers Ajay Devgn a trump card for films

Tabu, who will be seen in her upcoming film ‘Drishyam’ along with Ajay Devgn, said that she has been looking forward from years to work with the actor. She reveals that she will do any film with him because she considers Devgn as a trump card.

“When I came to know that Ajay will be acting and producing this film, I just said yes… He is a trump card. There is an advantage that I am getting to work with him. I could have done any film with him. I had the opportunity to reconnect with Ajay,” the 43-year-old-actress told Mid-Day.

Shedding light over the story and her role in the film, she said that it is about a murder mystery in Goa and she will be seen in the role of stern cop. “The police in this film is not against or for the system. It is a story of a simple family and what happens in their lives after a particular incident. Rajat Kapoor and I are family and how we get affected due to that situation,” she said.

She further praises the director, Nishikant Kamat, by saying, “It’s a nice, strong and powerful story. He is an easy going person. It was a great experience.”

The film’s music is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj. ‘Drishyam’ is slated to release on 31st July.
