Tabu on having blind faith in Vishal Bhardwaj

With a film library of remarkable performances dating back to the nineties, Tabu has time and again proved her valour as an actor with her versatility. Although considered to be one of the pickiest actors in Hindi Cinema, it takes something special to excite her and gain her trust on the work front.

The Asian Age reveals that something special for Tabu at this current moment is filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, whom she trusts blindly.

“I have blind faith in Vishal because I know that he will come to me with something that is worth my while. I think, more than blind faith, I know he understands me and he knows what I will do. I think I have a lot of strength in the faith I have in him. Our working relationship is one of the best I ever had”, she said

This actor and filmmaker pair have delivered some very appreciated pieces of work to the audiences over the years, such as ‘Maqbool’ (2003) and ‘Haider’ (2014). However, for Tabu, the meaning of success is much more than just being paid well.

“I think I could say success in this industry means you are popular and paid some good amount of money. But in life generally, I would say if you are happy doing what you are doing and are able to do it on your own terms living your life fully, that’s success for me. I take this at a personal level and say that every day” she added.
