Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Rashmi Rocket’ schedule to be altered

Though many film projects have been postponed due to the coronavirus restrictions, news has it that Taapsee Pannu’s forthcoming ‘Rashmi Rocket’ will have a change of plan due to a completely different reason. Where the cast and crew were scheduled to shoot in Bhuj in early November, it seems weather conditions will prohibit them from going ahead.

“It has rained very heavily in Bhuj and its neighbouring areas in the recent past. It has rained so heavily this year out there that the salt pans are still covered with a lot of water and hence we are not going to Bhuj as per our original schedule,” ETimes reports producer Pranjal Khandhdiya explaining.

All is not lost however, as it seems the makers will just swap shooting location schedules to save time. “We are now going to Pune in early November and we will go to Bhuj later. So, it’s just that we have swapped the schedules. We can’t skip Bhuj because a large part of the film is set there,” the producer went on to add.

Directed by Akarsh Khurana, the film will also be co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Neha Anand.
