Taapsee Pannu to star in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Womaniya’?

Taapsee Pannu is on a signing spree.  After being seen in the successful comedy, ‘Judwaa 2’ (2017),  she is making an 360 degree turn, as she is reportedly playing a professional shooter in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Womaniya’. She will be playing one of the lead characters in the film, which is slated to kick off in July.

Mirror reports that ‘Womaniya’ is a two-heroine project, but Pannu’s co-star is yet to be cast. A source further revealed, “The film follows two professional woman shooters and their success story against all odds. Both actresses will require to train in shooting before the film kicks off to maintain authenticity. Anurag will be introducing a new director with this project, which is inspired by the real-life success stories of several women professional shooters.”
