Taapsee Pannu speaks up on #MeToo movement

Taapsee Pannu has been most vocal when it comes to the empowerment of women or any issues discussed around it. Most recently, Vikas Bahl made news for getting a clean chit by the producers of his upcoming film ‘Super 30’ in the #MeToo case where he was accused by a former employee in Phantom Films.

Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel spoke about this decision but Tanushree Dutta stood against the decision. Now Pannu too is joining the fray, reports Cine Blitz. But while she did not mention anything about speaking for or against Bahl, she did come out in support of the #MeToo movement.

The star, while speaking to the media, shared that #MeToo movement should be continued and if there is no right judgement given, then fewer women will have the courage of coming out in public. She pointed out that this has been going on for years so it will take time to change the scenario. But she believes that women shouldn’t give up.

On the work front, Pannu has a hit this year with ‘Badla’ (2019) and apart from that she will be seen in films ‘Game Over’ and ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ later this year.
