Taapsee Pannu to replace Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Shailesh R Singh’s next?

Taapsee Pannu has reportedly given the green-light to a cop drama, which was originally offered to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

According to DNA India, Pannu has been briefed about the project helmed by Shailesh R Singh. A source told the publication, “The makers have discussed the idea with her. It’s a strong female character, so the producers were looking out for someone with substance to deliver the part. Taapsee is yet to get a proper narration. Only then will she decide whether she wants to do it or not.”

The source added, “Shailesh and his team of writers have reworked the script. It’s still a drama, but with humorous undertones. The main characters are two IPS officers who are married to each other.”
