Taapsee Pannu pumped up for ‘Meera’

Having received much applause for her stint as Indian intelligence officer in Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Baby’ (2015), Taapsee Pannu is all geared up to start training on her fourth coming venture ‘Meera’.

Apparently her role in ‘Meera’ will be based on her character from her previous film, and news has��it she will have to go through a much harder training routine than before, “I am really excited about ‘Meera’. A lot of people felt my character in ‘Baby’��had potential for development,”��DNA India reported the actress expressing.

The film will again be helmed by Pandey and rumours were doing the rounds that this was in fact a sequel to ‘Baby’. Putting all rumours to rest Pannu stated, “While my character is going to be taken from ‘Baby’, ‘Meera’ is neither a prequel nor a sequel to Baby, as reported. It�۪s part of the Baby franchise.But it�۪s going to be an independent film, though the character is derivative.”

In the meantime, Pannu is in the midst of promoting her upcoming film ‘Pink’, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
