With the rules on lockdown now being lifted, many have dived straight back into work. With a whole host of projects lined up, Taapsee Pannu seems to be making herself extremely busy on this front. Her most recent venture to have been added to her long list, is the adaptation of the 1998 German film ‘Run Lola Run’. The Hindi version has been christened ‘Loop Lapeta’.

Talking about the project, Pannu was asked if she thought Indian audiences were ready for such a film. “The original, ‘Run Lola Run’ was way ahead of its times.”

She went on to add, “Frankly, it is an experiment. We need to see if the audience will accept it. I personally feel that the concept is still untouched. It is not something that’s very regular or people have seen before. Having said that, it is still an experiment. I think the concept of the film will stand valid for a few more decades if you ask me.”

‘Run Lola Run’ tells the story of a girl’s desperate attempts to obtain money in order to save her boyfriend’s life.
