Taapsee Pannu on life after the success of ‘Pink’

Last year, Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Pink’ created waves. It seems it’s really changes things for the latter who is now being offered considerably different roles now than before she did pre-release.

“I am not treated as an option for roles anymore. I am not saying that I have reached a point where I have become the priority, or that they are writing roles specifically for me. But the names that they put me alongside are established and revered ones. For me to reach that level with my third film is really big,” said Pannu, according to Hindustan Times.

The actress, who will be seen next in ‘Judwaa 2’, spoke about whether she’s changed the way she takes her decisions for films now, “I haven’t really had an elaborate plan in my head but I knew that I am going to be slow and steady. I didn’t want to become an overnight star. I knew that it won’t happen with me. So, I decided to do one film a year, but so impactful that it’d last till my next film, at least”.

Pannu sees a change just three months after the release of ‘Pink’ so it remains to be seen what the coming years bring for her.
