Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming mystery thriller ‘Haseen Dilruba’ has her stepping away from her usual sports/drama genres. Inspired by the works of Hindi pulp writers Surender Mohan Pathak, Ved Prakash Sharma and Colonel Ranjeet, the film has a unique tone.
Pannu told Deccan Chronicle that the style is new for her, “Hindi pulp fiction will have a strong influence on this film. Again, this is something I haven’t done before.” ‘Haseen Dilruba’ also stars Vikrant Massey.
‘Haseen Dilruba’ is directed by Vinil Mathew and will release on 18th September, 2020.
