Taapsee Pannu on experiencing “borderline depression” with ‘Game Over’
Following on from the success of ‘Badla’ (2019), Taapsee Pannu opens up about how she experienced borderline depression with her latest film ‘Game Over’ (2019).
Reported on Pinkvilla, Pannu shares how for any film, it is difficult for her to forget the character she is playing fully, saying 10 per cent will always remain with her, “I laugh about the fact that I’m becoming a crazy person, with every film,” explained Pannu, who further added, “My sister was actually worried after Badla, wondering who I’ll kill, once I come back! I knew that’s not a good character to bring home. With Game Over, I was getting borderline depressed. I had to keep thinking about my biggest fears, again and again, for 35 days, every single day, for 12 hours. I used to text my sister, since she is my only bouncing board. I don’t freak my parents out. It would be quite scary for them to see their daughter going through these mental ups and downs.”
The ‘Pink’ (2016) actress also added she found she started turning brash like her character Rumi from ‘Manmarziyan’ (2018).
While ‘Game Over’ (2019) was not a worldwide release, Pannu is currently working on ‘Saandh Ki Aankh’ with Bhumi Pednekar.
